When Did the Blue Jays Win Their Most Recent World Series?

Paul Molitor was voted the series’ MVP in his rookie season, and the Blue Jays last won the World Series in 1993 after defeating the Phillies in six games. Molitor won MVP for the World Series after hitting two doubles, two triples, and two home runs.

The 1993 World Series was dramatically won by Toronto. Before Joe Carter hit a three-run walk-off home run to win the championship, they were behind 6–5 going into the bottom of the ninth inning and the Phillies were about to force Game 7. Carter’s home run in the bottom of the ninth inning made him just the second player to win the World Series.
