Google on Tuesday said it would erase accounts that had stayed unused for quite a long time beginning December, in a bid to forestall security dangers including hacks.

The arrangement change just applies to individual Google Records and not to those for associations like schools or organizations.
Google had stated in 2020 that it would remove content from an inactive account but not the account itself.
Before an inactive account is deleted, Google will begin sending multiple notifications to the account email address and recovery email on Tuesday.
Elon Musk stated last week that Twitter would archive accounts that have been inactive for a number of years and remove inactive accounts, explaining that the move was necessary “important to free up abandoned handles.”
