India saw the release of the Dell Alienware x16 R2 on Thursday, April 25. An Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with integrated network processor units (NPUs) and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card power the gaming laptop. Better AlienFX lighting on the laptop now lets users adjust the colors to match their favorite games. It also includes improved storage and micro-LED stadium lighting. It is said that the perimeter foot design of the anodised aluminum and magnesium alloy chassis improves airflow.

The Dell Alienware X16 R2 is available in India starting at Rs. 2,86,990 via Dell.com, Dell Exclusive outlets (DES), Amazon.com, and a few multiple-brand retailers nationwide, the company stated in a press release. There is just one Lunar Silver colorway available.
Features and specifications of the Dell Alienware x16 R2:
A 16-inch QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600 pixel) display with a 3ms reaction time and 240Hz refresh rate is featured on the Dell Alienware x16 R2. There are two CPU options available for the laptop: Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 9 185H. The CPUs can be combined with up to 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and one of the following GPU options: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, GeForce RTX 4070, GeForce RTX 4080, or GeForce RTX 4090.
Up to 4TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage and up to 32GB DDR5X RAM are also included in Alienware’s new gaming laptop. It has a full-HD camera, a dual array microphone, a multi-touch gesture touchpad with integrated scrolling, and an AlienFX RGB CherryMX keyboard. Additionally, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E are supported by the laptop.
The 90Wh battery of the Dell Alienware x16 R2 has 360W of charging support. Along with an HDMI 2.1 and mini-Display port, it has two USB Type-A 3.2, two USB Type-C ports, one 3.2 Gen 1 and one Thunderbolt 4.0 port. In addition, the laptop has a DC-in connector, a single 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. It weighs 2.72kg and has dimensions of 289.81mm x 364.74mm x 18.57mm.
