A Study Suggests That These Three Diets Lower The Risk of Alzheimer’s

According to recent study, brain-challenging activities and dietary practices may help prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

Three diets seemed to assist provide food for thinking, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. However, the foods have to be taken in conjunction with a few other beneficial brain behaviors.

A nice mental challenge is something like Brains in Bloom, which helps people with the disorder socialize. Activities that require physical exertion are also beneficial. Both are essential for maintaining sharp thinking and memory.

However, the DASH diet, the Mediterranean diet, and the MIND diet are the three diets that the Alzheimer’s Association claims to have contributed to long-term brain health success.

The DASH diet was a plant-based diet that was high in fruits and vegetables. It also included consuming low-fat dairy products in three or more portions per day.

Seafood was recommended in place of red meat in the Mediterranean diet. It also liked healthy fats, such as olive oil. Vegetables and fruits complement this diet as well.

The MIND diet combines the Mediterranean and Dash diets. Berries, an abundance of leafy green vegetables, and other plant-based diets were recommended.

According to a study, people who follow this eating pattern have a 53% lower chance of Alzheimer’s disease than people who follow a more conventional diet heavy in fat or meat.
