The Edge 50 Pro, Motorola’s next flagship device, is expected to ship in the coming weeks. In China, the phone will be marketed as the Motorola X50 Ultra; in the US, however, it will be available as the Motorola Edge+ (2024).
The upcoming flagship is shown in all its glory in this fresh set of renders that the people at Android Headlines have published, even though Motorola has already issued a teaser for the X50 Ultra in China.
It looks like Motorola’s flagship phone will come in black, purple, and silver, at the very least. The Edge 50 Pro’s stylish faux leather texture on the back, which is particularly apparent on the silver model, is what sets it apart.
The images show that Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro will have three cameras: a wide angle 13mm camera, a 73mm telephoto camera with a 6x zoom, and a 50-megapixel f/1.4 primary sensor. There are rumors that the camera will have optical image stabilization (OIS) and laser autofocus.
Fans of Motorola won’t be surprised when it comes to display. These preliminary specifications are based on reliable sources, even if they haven’t been verified yet. Because of this, we expect that the Edge 50 Pro will have an amazing 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 165Hz.
Motorola’s next flagship is expected to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM inside. A sizable 4,500 mAh battery that supports both 50W and 125W cable charging will power the phone.
There is no indication of a launch date in the Motorola teaser that was issued in China, but it does indicate that its flagship will have a number of AI-powered capabilities. However, every leaked render suggests that the phone could be unveiled on April 3. However, until Motorola officially announces the launch date, take this with a grain of salt.
