An AI-powered wearable device is unveiled at Computex 2025 by Acer

Acer Gadget, a division of Acer, demonstrated its growing emphasis on real-time communication tools and wellness-driven technology at the Computex 2025 trade show in Taiwan by launching a new range of wearables and smart mobility solutions driven by artificial intelligence. Among the highlights are the Acer FreeSense Ring and Acer AI TransBuds, which showcase the brand’s growing commitment to blending innovation with practical everyday use. In addition to these wearables, Acer Gadget is presenting its latest developments in e-mobility, featuring electric scooters, bikes, and related accessories that underline a holistic approach to enhancing modern lifestyles through connectivity, health, and transport.

With its sophisticated design and high-precision biometric tracking capabilities, the Acer FreeSense Ring is unique. Made from ultra-light titanium alloy, the wearable monitors key health indicators such as heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen saturation, and sleep patterns. Users can access personalized wellness recommendations through a dedicated mobile application, which interprets this data into actionable insights. This ring is engineered to promote daily health awareness and encourages users to adopt proactive wellness habits. With continuous monitoring features like sleep stage tracking and no extra fees for full data access, the FreeSense Ring offers a seamless and subscription-free experience tailored for everyday use.

Also unveiled were the Acer AI TransBuds, a set of compact earbuds designed to break language barriers through real-time AI translation. These earbuds utilize advanced speech recognition and semantic AI to facilitate fluid, two-way communication in multiple languages. They connect easily to smartphones or tablets via a plug-in receiver, and uniquely, only one person is required to wear them for effective translation, which enhances convenience in varied settings such as personal chats, business meetings, educational sessions, or livestreams. Additional features like live captions and transcription provide extra utility, allowing users to follow and revisit conversations with ease. 15 main languages from Asia, Europe, and the Americas are currently supported by the system.

Beyond wearables, Acer Gadget is also demonstrating its latest innovations in smart mobility. The company is presenting a range of new e-scooters and e-bikes built for both urban and outdoor use, such as the Acer eScooter Series 4 Select and Series 5 Select, in addition to the Predator ES Thunder and Predator ES Storm. These models are powered by motors ranging from 400 W to 500 W and are fitted with adaptive braking and suspension systems. The Acer eMobility App enables riders to track performance and manage safety features effortlessly. Also being showcased is the Predator eRanger, a fat-tire electric bike first introduced at the Taipei Cycle Show 2025, highlighting Acer Gadget’s continued push toward intelligent, adaptable mobility options for a wide range of users.
