Motorola’s newest addition to its foldable lineup, the Razr 2025, also known as the Razr 60 outside the U.S., brings several meaningful upgrades over its predecessor while maintaining its signature compact, clamshell design. The Razr 2025 is positioned as the most affordable model in the 2025 Razr series, which also includes the expensive Razr Ultra and Razr+. It features updated hardware, enhanced durability, and new design.
While the overall design and dimensions remain closely aligned with the Razr 2024 (aka Razr 50), the Razr 2025 debuts in an eye-catching array of new Pantone-inspired colorways with unique textures. Users can choose from Gibraltar Sea with a nylon-style surface, Spring Bud with a leather-like texture, Lightest Sky finished in smooth acetate, and Parfait Pink, another soft leather-like option. Not only does it look more stylish, but the phone is also tougher – now featuring IP48 certification for dust and water resistance, as well as a titanium-reinforced hinge for better structural integrity.
The Razr 2025 also comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400x CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The external 3.6-inch LTPO pOLED screen runs at 90Hz, while the primary interior panel is a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO pOLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz. Gorilla Glass Victus protects both screens, and Dolby Vision is supported, resulting in a visually captivating experience.
Camera hardware remains consistent, with a 50MP primary sensor and 13MP ultrawide lens capable of macro photography on the back, and a 32MP selfie camera up front. Additional features include stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, dual SIM compatibility (physical SIM + eSIM), face unlock, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. However, there’s still no 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery has received a bump from 4,200mAh to 4,500mAh, offering more longevity on a single charge. Both 15W wireless and 30W wired charging are supported (a separate charger is required). The Razr 2025 comes pre-installed with Android 15 with smart features like Gemini Live and Moto AI.
U.S. customers can pre-order the Motorola Razr 2025 starting May 7 for $699.99, the same price as last year’s model at launch. It officially goes on sale May 15. With prices of £799.99 and €799.99, respectively, it is already available in the UK and Europe.
