Canada is thought to be the fourth most human rights-valuing country in the world.
The top three positions on the list are held by Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, with the Netherlands completing the top 5. The US ranked 21st.
“Cares about human rights” is just one of the many factors that U.S. News considers when ranking the best countries, along with innovation, safety, income equality, and other elements.
