Roku launches a new range of premium TVs that will be available in spring

The hardware business unveiled a new line of high-end televisions today, one year after launching its own variety of TVs under the Roku brand. Additionally, Roku unveiled Roku Smart Picture, an AI-driven feature that automatically modifies audio and visual quality.

Compared to the Roku Select and Plus Series TVs, the Roku Pro Series TVs are thinner and have a mount that lies flat against the wall. Mini-LEDs for local dimming and 4K QLED panels are also features of the new TVs. The TVs have audio enhancements for a “wide cinematic sound,” the company continues.

In the spring of this year, Roku will begin offering its new product line to American consumers. The new TVs will cost less than $1,500 and come in three sizes: 55″, 65″, and 75″. This is a little increase from the $999 model.

A new element to the Roku TV programme, Roku Smart Picture will also launch in the spring of 2024 with the goal of enhancing the viewing experience. Roku Smart Picture uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data from content partners to identify what kind of material is on screen and to optimise the TV settings for the best potential presentation for users. All Roku TV models will have the capability at some point.

Roku will be speaking on Wednesday, January 10 at the CES technology tradition.
