Taco Bell is offering a $10 monthly taco subscription

Taco Bell is introducing daily tacos, arguably the finest subscription service yet.

Taco Bell customers may enjoy one taco per day for 30 days for $10 per month. Taco Lover’s Pass, a national programme, will be available for purchase starting Thursday for members of the Taco Bell rewards programme who have downloaded the Taco Bell app.

A soft taco, spicy potato soft taco, crunchy tacos, and Doritos tacos are among the tacos included in the subscription. Customers can add a taco to their basket during the purchase process after subscribing to it, which unlocks a special section within the app.

In September 2021, Taco Bell tried the concept in Tucson, Arizona. The chain experimented with a pricing range of $5 to $10 and said in a statement that its rewards programme had grown by 20%. The Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme taco received the most votes.

Although subscription streaming services are more widespread, restaurants have also tried with them. Sweetgreen unveiled a $10 discount offer this week that allows customers to save $3 on each buy for a month. Customers can get a free hot or iced cup of coffee every day with Panera’s $8.99 monthly subscription.

Taco Bell is presumably hoping that the trial would convert casual customers into regular customers and improve loyalty programme registration. The goal is to entice folks in with a free taco in the hopes that they will order more and spend more money at the eatery. It also provides restaurant operators with data on ordering habits, allowing them to better target diners with tailored offers.

Last year, Yum Brands (YUM), which owns the taco business, stated that it wants to increase digital sales by offering more exclusives. Users who join the app’s loyalty programme spend 35 percent more than those who don’t, according to the company.
