‘Leverage: Redemption’ renewed for Season 2 at IMDb TV

IMDb TV has renewed “Leverage: Redemption” for a second season.

Noah Wyle, a five-time Emmy nominee, stars alongside Beth Riesgraf, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, and Aldis Hodge in the reworking of Dean Devlin, John Rogers, and Chris Downey’s classic 2008 crime thriller series Leverage.

“Bringing back these characters has been a dream come true, and working with such incredible people as the team at IMDb TV has been an absolute pleasure,” said Dean Devlin, co-showrunner and executive producer of the series for Electric Entertainment. “So excited we get to do it all over again.”

The rich and powerful take what they want in Redemption, and the Leverage crew has regrouped to bring them down. Over the last eight years, thief Sophie Devereaux (Bellman), thief Parker (Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Kane), and hacker Alec Hardison (Hodge) have watched the world change. It had become simpler — and often even legal — for the wealthy to amass even more wealth, and for the powerful to crush anyone who stood in their way. Harry Wilson (Wyle), a corporate lawyer seeking atonement after learning he’d spent his entire career on the wrong side of the table, and Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), Hardison’s foster sister with a talent for computers, robotics, and getting into trouble, joined the Leverage team.

Gina Bellman portrayed Sophie Devereaux, Beth Riesgraf portrayed Parker, Christian Kane portrayed Eliot Spencer, Aldis Hodge portrayed Alec Hardison, Noah Wyle portrayed Harry Wilson, and Aleyse Shannon portrayed Breanna Casey in Season 1. Along with co-showrunner and executive producer Dean Devlin, and executive producers Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment, Kate Rorick served as co-showrunner and executive producer. As consulting producers, John Rogers and Chris Downey were involved.

In Season 1, Kate Rorick worked as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Dean Devlin, co-showrunner and executive producer, and Electric Entertainment executive producers Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson. As consulting producers, John Rogers and Chris Downey were involved.

IMDb TV now has all 16 episodes of “Leverage: Redemption” available for streaming, as well as all five seasons of the original show.
