Launch, price, and review of the OnePlus Nord CE4 smartphone in India

The smartphones in the OnePlus Nord series of CE devices meet the essential features that are important to the majority of customers. One of the top-selling smartphones of 2023 was the Nord CE3 Lite from OnePlus. The OnePlus Nord CE4, which the company just unveiled, will likely compete with smartphones like the Nothing Phone (2a) in the sub-Rs 25K pricing range. After a week of using this device, this is what we think:

Marble surface:

In a crowd, the Celadon Marble color option is the one that sticks out. While Dark Chrome is an option for the smartphone, the marble finish is more stunning. OnePlus manages to maintain the weight under 190g. It looks really expensive for the money it is asking and feels fantastic in your hands.

Bezel-less:

This device has a 93.4 percent screen to body ratio; it is all screen. Peaking at 1100 nits, the 6.7-inch FHD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels / 394 PPI) display is highly immersive. This field is nearly certain to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which increases its appeal. The useful aqua touch feature, which we’ve seen on the more expensive OnePlus 12, is also included in the CE4, enabling you to operate the display even with wet hands.

Specifications:

OnePlus devices are nearly always quick to deliver. This one has an 8GB RAM configuration paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. There are two versions of the CE4 available: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB (which we examined). Our multitasking and benchmarking tests were perfect, so most users should be satisfied with the device. In our multi-core Geekbench test, its clock speed was 3004 MHz.

One of the main upgrades from the previous model is the triple back camera, particularly in low light conditions where the OIS enhances the performance of the primary Sony LYT-600 (50MP) sensor. Although there isn’t a specialized macro lens, most users won’t be put away by that.

Although some people may not find the plastic back interesting, it doesn’t appear tacky. In addition, it maintains the device’s weight low even with a sizable 5500 mAh battery installed. With the 100W charger that you receive, your device may be charged in just thirty minutes.

One of the most tempting smartphone purchases around Rs 25K is the OnePlus Nord CE4, which has a large battery, a lovely design, and an excellent camera despite lacking many gimmicky features.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 costs Rs 24,999 (8GB/128GB) and Rs 26,999 (8GB/256GB) and is available in Celadon Marble and Dark Chrome. A Rs 1,500 refund is available from OnePlus on a number of credit cards.
