Canada Post is sending each household a postcard to ship off a friend or family member free of charge

Canada Post is sending a free prepaid postcard to each family unit in the nation to help residents stay associated during the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The government postal office is wanting to send about 13.5 million postcards across the county, as per a news release. They are essential for the “Write Here Wrote Now” campaign set up by the Canada Post in September to empower letter writing as a means of connection.

“Meaningful connection is vital for our emotional health, sense of community and overall well-being,” Doug Ettinger, president and CEO of Canada Post, said in a statement.

“Canada Post wants everyone to stay safe, but also stay in touch with the people who matter to them.”

There will be six unique versions of the postcard, which will be haphazardly shipped off every family. The messages on the cards will be ones of appreciation, love and thanks, as indicated by the release. The cards can be sent anyplace free of charge in the country.
