At an animal screening, Alia Bhatt hugged Rashmika Mandanna and netizens questioned why the hug was so awkward?

People on the internet think that Alia Bhatt awkwardly hugged Rashmika Mandanna during the most recent screening of Animal.

On December 1, the eagerly awaited movie Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor finally hit theaters. Alia attended the exclusive screening of the movie with her family, and the film’s premiere was hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and the Animal crew. During the premiere, the actress was spotted with Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor. Additionally, she met Rashmika Mandanna and greeted the actress with a hug.

With a specially designed t-shirt that featured Ranbir’s Animal character, Alia paid a particular compliment to Ranbir for the day. Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, was dressed in a beige bodycon dress.

Despite appearing rushed during the occasion, Alia took a moment to hug Rashmika Mandanna. However, a lot of internet users felt that Alia and Rashmika’s hug was a little strange. After the video went viral on Reddit, viewers shared their insightful opinions in the comments section. Someone asked in a comment, “Why are people hugging awkwardly?” “Why is Alia making a face?” asked another. “She is not looking in her eyes,” another person said.

The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is titled Animal and centers on the toxic connection between a father and son. Ranbir portrays the traumatized, irate son, while Anil plays the emotionally distant father. Alongside Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, the teaser was unveiled in Delhi. Ranbir made a comparison between Khushi Kabhie Kabhi Gham, directed by Karan Johar, and Animal during the press conference. Ranbir declared, “Khushi Kabhie Kabhi Gham is an adult-rated film.”

After Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second film in the Bollywood genre is Animal. Sandeep and Ranbir are working together for the first time with Animal. In addition to Ranbir and Rashmika, important roles in the movie are played by Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri.
