Where to Watch ‘The Pitt’ Without an HBO Max Subscription

There’s no better time to watch (or revisit) the Emmy-winning drama than now, as The Pitt’s Season 2 premiere in January 2026 is just a few months away.

The show takes viewers in a 15-hour shift at a Pittsburgh emergency room, where a group of medical professionals, under the direction of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle), put in great effort to treat their patients. Each episode represents one hour of the shift as TheIR day unfolds in real time. The end product is a compelling view into the failing American healthcare system, addressing delicate subjects like gun violence and abortion while also showcasing incredibly precise depiction of medical procedures. The Pitt won Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Wyle), and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Katherina LaNasa) after becoming a huge hit on HBO Max.

You’re in luck if you don’t currently have a subscription to HBO Max! There’s a new way to participate in The Pitt action this December.

The Pitt will begin running on TNT on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on December 1. The final batch of episodes will air on Monday, December 29. The episodes will air in batches of three consecutive episodes. A press release from TNT states that the network will air The Pitt exactly as it aired on HBO Max, which means that none of the show’s more graphic medical imagery or nudity will be removed.
