OriginOS 6 is now formally available. At the 2025 vivo Developer Conference, which also featured the release of BlueOS 3.0 and CarLink 3.0, the OS launch played a significant role.
According to Vivo, the new design of OriginOS 6 has a more layered and spatial feel. Similar to Apple’s Liquid Glass style on iOS 26, items have a 3D feel and realistically appear over and under other visual elements thanks to shadows and a transparent effect.
With a new motion effect curve and refined details, the animations have been completely updated to provide the most intuitive and intuitive interaction experience.
The texture icons on the Vivo X Fold5 served as the inspiration for the new icon design in OriginOS 6. Light and shadow layers are used to reinvent them and give them a more spatial feel.
OriginOS 6 will be unveiled globally on October 15 after its Chinese premiere. With OriginOS 6, the vivo X300 and iQOO 15 series will make their debut.
Vivo has provided a detailed list of the devices that will receive OriginOS 6 and when, along with the announcement that the OriginOS 6 public beta will open in November. The vivo X Fold5, the vivo X200 series, and the iQOO 13 and iQOO Neo10 series will be the first phones to receive OriginOS 6.
