Subway Introduces $3 ‘Footlong Dippers’ to Sidekicks Menu

Subway is adding new items to its Sidekicks menu this summer.

The sandwich chain announced that its new $3 Footlong Dippers will be available in restaurants nationwide. The snacks are served hot, garnished with one of Subway’s signature sauces and come in three varieties: Pepperoni & Cheese, Chicken & Cheese and Double Cheese.

“Subway’s all-new Dippers embody the changes Subway has made over the past few years by elevating our food and guest experience to better meet the needs of today’s diner – balancing their love for the iconic footlong alongside our commitment to convenience, crave and value,” Doug Fry, president of Subway North America, said in a statement.

The Footlong Dippers join the Footlong Cookie, Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel and Cinnabon Footlong Churro on the Sidekicks menu, which debuted in January.

The sandwich chain has continually improved its menu in recent years, including phasing out pre-cut deli meats.

Subway’s latest offering comes at a time when other fast-food and quick-service restaurants are rolling out sales to lure back cash-strapped customers.
