Polestar is significantly extending its lineup.
On Wednesday, the company unveiled the “largest model offensive in its history,” with four new cars arriving in the next three years.
Some of these are not exactly surprise. The 2026 Polestar 5, a speedy electric cars that was introduced last year, will begin deliveries to customers this summer.
However, the business also unveiled a new version of its electric SUV, the Polestar 4, which will be available later in 2026, with deliveries beginning in the fourth quarter of the year.
The Polestar 2, a new version of the compact electric sedan, is expected to appear “early in 2027.”
Finally, the Polestar 7, a “compact, premium SUV,” is set to debut in 2028.
There are new models about the new cars; this is more of a Polestar strategy announcement than a car reveal. The Polestar 4 will be “combining the space of an estate and the versatility of an SUV with the dynamic performance that is Polestar,” according to the company, while the Polestar 2 will be “very exciting.”
Regarding the Polestar 7, an important model in Europe where compact SUVs are popular, the business argues that it “can offer customers a progressive performance-driven car for a very attractive price point, built in Europe.”
