Season 2 premieres its first two episodes on Wednesday, December 10, on Disney+.

Who is in the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2?

Walker Scobell portrays the titular demigod and son of Poseidon, commonly known as Seaweed Brain. Grover Underwood, a satyr in search of the great deity Pan, is played by Aryan Simhadri. Leah Sava Jeffries plays Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena, the goddess of knowledge. Dior Goodjohn plays Clarisse, the daughter of Ares, the god of battle. She and Percy are enemies of sorts. Charlie Busnell plays Luke Castellan, Hermes’ son.

Jason Mantzoukas plays Dionysus, the god of wine and the director of Camp Halfblood, where the demigods hide and train to fight. Timothy Simons will appear in Season 2 as Tantalus, Head of Activities at Camp Halfblood, a position previously held by Chiron (Glynn Turman). Virginia Kull plays Percy’s mother, Sally Jackson, while Daniel Diemer appears in Season 2 as Tyson, a cyclops with a talent for tinkering. Tyson is Percy’s half-brother.

What exactly is Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 about?

Based on Rick Riordan’s second novel in the series, The Sea of Monsters, Percy, Annabeth’s unusual teammate Clarisse, and Tyson the Cyclops are in desperate need of a quest to preserve Camp Halfblood from dark forces at work. When Thalia’s pine tree is poisoned and the camp barrier is breached, Clarisse, and later Percy and Annabeth, seek the Golden Fleece to repair the tree and recover Grover, who has been seduced by Polyphemus the Cyclops. To discover the Fleece and save Grover, Percy and his team must cross the Sea of Monsters, often known as the Bermuda Triangle to mortals, and face the watery gauntlet that awaits them.
