Oppo Set to Launch Reno 14 5G Series in India with Premium Design and Powerful Specs

Oppo has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of its Reno 14 5G series in India through its social media handles. Following its debut in China this past May, the lineup is expected to include both the Oppo Reno 14 5G and the Reno 14 Pro 5G, offering refreshed designs and upgraded internals for Indian consumers.

The Chinese variant of the Reno 14 5G comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Pro version runs on the more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC. In India, the devices are anticipated to feature the same configurations. Oppo has teased several glimpses of the upcoming phones, showcasing a triple rear camera setup, an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, and a one-piece sculpted glass rear panel — design elements reminiscent of the Reno 13 series. The company has also confirmed one of the colour options as Forest Green, with another expected to be the Mermaid shade, as seen in the Chinese release.

While Oppo has yet to announce an official launch date, it’s widely speculated that the series will arrive in the Indian market during the first week of July, with an exact date likely to be disclosed shortly.

According to specifications, the Reno 14 5G in China has a 6.59-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. It can accommodate up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. In addition to a 50MP front camera, the triple back camera arrangement consists of a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The gadget runs ColorOS 15.0 and has a 6,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 80W.

The Reno 14 Pro 5G, on the other hand, boasts a slightly larger 6.83-inch display and houses three 50MP cameras on the back alongside a 50MP selfie shooter. It’s powered by the Dimensity 8450 chip, features the same RAM and storage options, and includes a 6,200mAh battery with 80W charging.

As for pricing, the new series is expected to be positioned close to its Chinese counterparts, possibly priced slightly above the previous Reno 13 lineup in India.
