Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially introduced its much-anticipated 2025 XL750 Transalp adventure bike to the Indian market. Priced at ₹10,99,990 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), this new entrant in the premium ADV segment is now available for booking through Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide, with deliveries slated to commence in July 2025.
At the heart of the XL750 Transalp lies a robust 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine capable of producing 67.5 kW of power at 9,500 RPM and a peak torque of 75 Nm at 7,250 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, offering refined performance suited for both urban streets and rugged trails. Enhancing its adaptability, Honda has equipped the bike with a Throttle-By-Wire system that offers five distinct riding modes — Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User — enabling riders to tailor engine response, traction control, and braking to suit varied terrains and conditions.
On the mechanical front, the adventure motorcycle is built around a reliable setup featuring a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front and an 18-inch at the rear. Suspension duties are managed by 43mm USD Showa front forks and a Pro-Link rear monoshock, ensuring capable off-road performance. For braking, it gets twin 310mm discs up front and a 256mm disc at the rear, all complemented by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Technology and convenience aren’t left behind either, as the bike features a 5.0-inch TFT colour display with smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, along with emergency stop signal, automatic turn signal cancellation, and all-LED lighting. The 2025 XL750 Transalp will be available in two striking shades — Ross White and Graphite Black.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the launch, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, stated that the new Transalp stands as a testament to Honda’s enduring legacy in adventure motorcycling. He added that this latest version, blending modern technology with a purposeful design, will surely capture the interest of India’s growing community of adventure riding enthusiasts.
