From Khatron Ke Khiladi to Bigg Boss: Karan Veer Mehra Celebrates Back-to-Back Wins

Actor Karan Veer Mehra, who recently emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18, expressed his happiness about being compared to the late Sidharth Shukla, the iconic winner of Bigg Boss 13. Reflecting on the comparison during a post-victory media interaction, Karan Veer shared his thoughts on Sidharth’s legacy and recounted a heartfelt memory of their friendship.

Speaking fondly of Sidharth, Karan Veer said, “He was a wonderful guy and a good friend of mine. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time together, we understood each other well. I feel honored to be compared to someone like him. He was a man with a huge heart.” His admiration for Sidharth was evident as he recounted a gesture that deeply touched him.

Karan Veer reminisced about an incident from his early days in Mumbai when Sidharth’s generosity left a lasting impression. “When I was new in Bombay, Sidharth had this incredible bike. I told him I needed to get some photos clicked for my portfolio and asked if I could pose near his bike. Instead of just agreeing, he came down, handed me the keys, and told me to take pictures while riding it on the back road. It was such an expensive bike, and yet he trusted me without hesitation. That’s the kind of big-hearted person he was. I miss him and wish I could share this moment with him,” he shared.

Reflecting on his own journey, Karan Veer described himself as the “chosen one” for achieving the rare feat of winning back-to-back reality shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 before his Bigg Boss 18 victory. He admitted that the journey taught him a lot about himself, particularly embracing his emotional side, which he had previously seen as a weakness. “Now, I believe it’s okay to be emotional,” he said, expressing gratitude for the experiences that shaped him.

The Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18 concluded with Karan lifting the trophy after defeating Vivian Dsena in a closely contested finale. Among the six finalists were Vivian, Eisha Singh, Chum Darang, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal. Karan’s triumph has only further cemented his reputation as a rising star in reality television.
